Mobile Survey Solutions

Mobile surveys give you the power to reach your desired respondents anywhere and at anytime.

Decipher’s mobile capabilities allow for mobile surveys customized for your unique research need and adapted based on the mobile device a respondent is using; ensuring an optimum experience for respondents using any of the major mobile devices on the market today.

Accurate Mobile Detection of over 6,000 devices. Detection allows you to see if the respondent is attempting to take the survey on a mobile devices vs. a nonmobile device. E.g. desktop browsers, spiders, and game consoles or even tablet devices, such as the Apple iPad or Motorola Xoom. Scripting and styling properties like screen width & height, video capability, input methods (touch screens, stylus, D-pad) are all seamlessly integrated.

Create Mobile-compatible or Mobile-only Surveys simply and easily. Accept or deny respondents based on the category of the device they are using. Eg. “No tablets allowed. Come back on a Smartphone.”

Multi-Media Capabilities. Both video and images (optimized for small screens) can be utilized in mobile surveys. Video and Audio are supported for both Smartphones and Tablet based surveys. Images can be supported on all mobile devices, including feature phones. Tablet based surveys can also support interactive questions.

Integration with Beacon (build your own mobile surveys!) Now you can set survey mobile compatibility as well as designate types of mobile devices allowed through Beacon, Decipher’s DIY survey platform. In addition, users have the ability to customize mobile best practice warnings and save settings as default for future projects. Warnings (along with an explanation) are displayed when a mobile survey design fails to follow our best practice guidelines. Options and warnings are displayed during various stages of survey creation. E.g., running sample data, testing, viewing project summary, and launching survey. You choose to ignore or fix the survey based on the warnings.
