I'm becoming a father for a first time! My mini me is duethis summer and I'm trying to prepare, if that is even possible, for things tocome. In the process of reading through parenting books and magazines I thoughtthat for the most part, the wise advice of parents.com is very applicable to the marketresearch industry. After a horrendous winter in CT, I wanted to find ways of spending as much time as possible outdoors in the warmer seasons ahead. One of the activities I’m really into right now is creating an eatable garden. Because I’m new at this I’m making mistakes left and right. For instance, I got carried away buying seeds. I easily bought over 50 packets worth. Anything from simple tomatoes and basil to more daredevil veggies like asparagus or cauliflower. I literally envisioned the fruit & veggie aisle at Whole Foods in my backyard. That vision was nice! Read more »

Is how you drive a reflection of how you live? I’m starting to think that it could be true. I recently came back from vacation where I got the chance to visit three different countries. I was surprised to see that people drove much like they lived, on a calmed and pleasant demeanor. Currently, I live in the North East where the “actual” speed limit is always 10-20 miles higher than the traffic signal suggests. Read more »

I think that all of us have some artistic talents and just need to explore and find what they are. I happen to find great joy in photography. Photography is fascinating and therapeutic. A photographer can reach moments of bliss, of silence where nothing matters but you and the shot. It’s a great way to live the moment. Through photography I can capture an instant in time that won’t return. I can visit the same locations time after time and never get the same result on a shot. Even if I share the experience with a group, no two shots will be the same. Read more »
